Collection of Information
We collect both Personal Information, Non-Personal Information, and Consolidated Marketplace Transactional Data to provide you with a customized, automated, and efficient financial reconciliation service.
Personal Information
Personal information is any data that can be used to identify you as an individual or your specific business registration. This includes details such as:
- Your name, corporate address, email address, phone number
- Payment information (e.g., billing details)
- GSTIN, corporate identification numbers, and tax residency certificates provided for compliance servicing.
Marketplace & Developer Data (API Integration)
When you integrate our reporting application with e-commerce marketplaces (such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.), we securely collect and process data required to download your operational reports:
- Secure, tokenized API credentials (such as OAuth Refresh Tokens). We strictly avoid storing raw seller passwords.
- Transactional data, order sheets, sales returns, settlement timelines, tax invoices, TDS sheets, and delivery challans generated by your seller profiles.
- Personally Identifiable Information (PII) belonging to customers (such as buyer names and delivery addresses visible on merchant tax invoices) strictly to generate compliant tax invoices like GST/VAT returns.
Non-Personal Information
Non-personal information is data that cannot be used to identify you directly. Examples include your IP address, browser type, device details, and aggregated application usage statistics. We use cookies and similar technologies to manage your active session while utilizing our cloud portal.
How We Use Your Information
- Personal & Corporate Data — We use your data to register your software profile, process transactions, fulfill accounting updates, and provide corporate compliance packages (like VPoB or GST filing).
- Marketplace API Data & Reports — Data pulled from e-commerce platform APIs is processed exclusively for the purpose of aggregating financial datasets, auto-downloading recurring accounting reports, and calculating accurate tax reconciliations. We do not use marketplace data for marketing insights, competitive sourcing, or any purposes outside of your direct business compliance requirements.
Data Storage, Security & Encryption
EASY WORKS implements industry-standard technical and organizational security controls to safeguard all retrieved e-commerce data.
- Data in Transit — All communications between our script/web-servers and marketplace APIs (like Amazon SP-API or Flipkart API) are encrypted using standard Secure Socket Layer/Transport Layer Security (HTTPS/TLS 1.2 or higher).
- Data at Rest — All marketplace reports, tokenized credentials, and seller tracking data are stored in isolated databases using industry-standard AES-256 encryption configurations.
- Access Control — Access to data pulled from customer accounts is strictly controlled via least-privilege security roles. Only authorized personnel explicitly tasked with your financial reporting can access the application's backend logs.
Data Retention and Secure Deletion (Marketplace PII)
In absolute alignment with Amazon's Data Protection Policy and regional e-commerce mandates, we maintain a strict data minimization and retention workflow:
- We retain customer Personally Identifiable Information (PII) fetched via marketplace APIs only for the minimum period necessary to complete the corresponding tax compliance execution (e.g., monthly GST filing submission), or as legally mandated by Indian tax code retention timelines.
- Upon explicit termination of your account with Easy Works, or upon a formal written request sent to bookings@easyworks.in, all tokenized marketplace access vectors, transactional history database lines, and raw downloaded reports will be permanently and securely deleted from our storage architecture within 30 days, unless legally restricted.

- To comply with statutory legal obligations (such as filing your figures to the GST Portal or responding to judicial orders).
- In the event of a corporate restructuring, merger, or sale of business assets where data security agreements are completely transferred.
Incident Response Protocol
We maintain a documented incident response protocol. In the highly unlikely event of a security breach compromising data derived from our e-commerce integrations, we will isolate the impacted application server, sever active marketplace API connections, notify affected account administrators, and report the occurrence to relevant marketplace security platforms (such as Amazon Security at security@amazon.com) within 24 hours of discovery.
Access to Your Information
